Few days ago i was playing RA, an i loaded up in the ascalonian flag arena. And the guys on the other team had spirits, so i went up the staircase (i was the red guy). i walked on the top most ledge, and was trying not to be killed by spirits and when i tried to go down to there side of the field, i fell in to the staircase. it was just like using a noclip cheat code in half-life. so i just sat there, w8 to get killed, mind u i cold go out of there but i was testing.

Only hexes and spells cold get me but not any other attacks.

I will give a screen shot as soon a possible.

I've had that happen before. Guild wars lacks a Z-axis, which leads to all sorts of funky behavior around bridges, stairs, and slopes.

You can still move, melee attacks can still hit you, but projectiles might be confused... or not, depending on the alignment of the planets and the flavor of Izzy's morning donut.

those particular stairs are good for ranged attacks.

you can hug the wall as you would be going down them, and stay at the same height. in the right situation you can get some good range and damage with a bow and no obstructions. awesome for a ranger spike team if the enemy is dumb enough to get close
